yard bird #106

hi ya'll,

well, this has been a sporty bird week 'round these parts. under dreary
skies during mid-morning, observed a Yellow Warbler chase a pair of House
finches about the confines here for number 106. he ran 'em off, too (albeit
temporarily.) i've no idea what that was about (other than testosterone
overload) but it was pretty cool...

still a cpl of White-throats and a Chippie hanging out. Robins galore, in
contrast to this time last year. finally heard a Y-b Cuckoo in the
neighborhood for the spring. a pair of Common nighthawks and a cpl of bats
at dusk were nice to see.

two new yardbirds and two lifers in one week.

woohoo!
