Hi All,
While visiting Litchfield Beach, S.C. this week, we were fortunate to
see lots of interesting birds there and at Santee and Huntington Beach:
HBSP May 12 at pond near jetty, Whimbrel (1), Common Merganzer (1); Ed
Bldg May 12 Painted Bunting M&F; Boardwalk behind Ed Bldg Clapper Rail;
causeway/causeway parking lot: Long Billed Dowitcher, YB Cuckoo, Marsh
Wren, Ground Dove, Semi-palmated Plover, Snowy Egret, Great Egret; beach
area: Br Thrasher, Tree Swallow, Forster Tern, Least Tern, etc. 
Santee May 13 Greater Yellowlegs (1), Black-necked Stilt (2), Solitary
Sandpiper (1) ?, Yellow-Crowned Night Heron (1), Summer Tanager (1) F,
Least Sandpiper (several), Blk Bellied Plover (several), Wood Stork (1),
Eastern Kingbird (1) BG Gnatcatcher (1), Eastern Phoebe (1), Indigo
Bunting (3), YB Chat (1), Bobwhite (several), YT Warbler (1), Red
Bellied Woodpecker, N Flicker, Semi-palmated Plover, GB Heron, etc. 
Litchfield Beach/Inlet Point May 13: Whimbrel (5), Oystercatcher (4),
Fulvous Duck flyover (7) 95% certainty, Blk Bellied Plover (several),
Blk necked Stilt (3), etc.

We looked and looked for the Gray Kingbird at Pawleys Island to no
avail!
