Hi C'birders,
At mid-day Bob Maxwell and I met and stayed at the causeway looking for
a target bird, Least Bittern with no luck, It was low tide declining
but no luck and few birds. The June doldrums are fast approaching. 17
species. Best were 4 Semipalmated Plovers, 28 Semipalmated Sandpipers
and 2 Little Blue Herons a pied individual and an adult plumaged bird.
Good company but the birding was just so,so (but it was still better
than the best day at work)
