If you miss Peter Cashwell on the radio, here's a chance to see him in
person, according to this e-mail notification I got from the bookshop at
Southern Village.

Peter Cashwell will read and sign The Verb ‘To Bird’: Sightings of an
Avid Birder and staff from The Wild Bird Center will also join us for an
evening celebrating the joys of birding. An English teacher by
profession and an avid birder by inner calling, Cashwell has written a
whimsical and critical book about his many obsessions -- birds, birders,
language, literature, parenting, pop culture, and the human race.
Cashwell has a keen eye, an inquiring mind, and a slightly twisted sense
of humor.
