Plenty of swallows gulping down mosquitoes near the golf club ponds and
Pinehurst Dr. viaduct this morning (Sun.); a dozen or more Barn and two
dozen Rough-winged. Had seen 2 pair of Barn S. nesting under bridge about a
month ago, so not certain if the ones today are the juvenile results or
additional adult pairs.
Also, a pint-sized Red-Shouldered Hawk juvie at top of tree squawking for
food that was not forthcoming.
