Hi C'birders,
This morning I birded at the Conway Sewage Ponds and New Road in Conway,
Horry County, SC. A total of 29 species in about 2+ hrs. The best of
these were: 15 Little Blue Heron almost all white juveniles, 4
Tricolored Herons, 1 Cattle Egret, 2 Lesser Yellowlegs, 2 Solitary
Sandpiper, 8 Spotted Sandpiper, 2 Semipalmated Sandpiper, 3 Least
Sandpiper (all shorebirds were mostly alternate plumaged adults), 1
Yellow-billed Cuckoo, 1 Red-headed Woodpecker, 3 Orchard Orioles that
appeared to be a family group.
The rest is on http://www.ebird.org/content/
Good birding,
Jack Peachey
Conway, SC
