Introducing ClipBird 1.0 - A Checklist Utility for Birders

Redshank Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability to
Carolinabirders of ClipBird 1.0.

ClipBird is utility software that enables birders to easily create lists of
bird species that can be pasted into e-mail, word processing or spreadsheet
applications. If you find yourself frequently typing species names or lists
into e-mail or other documents, then you probably would benefit from having
a copy of ClipBird on your personal computer.

ClipBird uses a built-in database of species checklists for different states
(or other geographic areas). Currently, ClipBird only contains checklists
for North America, North Carolina and South Carolina but more will be added
in the future.

ClipBird is freeware, but we will gratefully accept donations to recover the
cost of making the software available. Please don't make a donation until
you have used the software and decided it justifies a donation.

ClipBird is provided AS IS, and technical support is not guaranteed. Still,
we'd like to know if you have problems.

Both Windows and Macintosh versions are available. A monitor resolution of
at least 800 X 600 is required.

Please visit our web site (www.redshanksoftware.com) for more details about
ClipBird and for information on downloading the software.

(And while you're at the web site, be sure to check out the Avendex page.
Avendex is now available for both Windows and Macintosh.)

We look forward to hearing what you think about ClipBird! Please e-mail us
privately at redshank@redshanksoftware.com if you have any questions or
comments.

Sincerely,

Russ Tyndall
