Clear blue skies again made for rough hawking conditions. We counted 75 migrants,
today.
Broad-winged 73
Red-tailed 2
Local birds seen: Sharp-shinned Hawk-1, Peregrine Falcon-1 (the Table Rock male),
Red-tailed Hawk-3(2 juv. and 1 adult). Red-headed Woodpecker-2 and a few Monarchs.
Visitors: Bob Maxwell and his grandson; Mike Hoekstra and Karen Cowgill from Atlanta,
GA; David & Amy Dobson; Chuck Underwood and Judy Reyes; Tom Joyce; Donna Caouette and
Mark Wiencek
There was 20+ folks attending the park's Hawk Watch orientation this morning.
