All,
One of my friends (he's another assistant scoutmaster in my boy's scout
troop) found a most interesting thing in a disced field in Johnston
County, NC, south of Smithfield, this past Saturday morning- the very
fresh, but very dead, carcass of an adult (complete with intact tail
streamers) white-tailed tropic bird. I believe the specimen is headed to
the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
Take care,
Clyde Sorenson
