Lincoln's & Clay-colored Sparrows - Patriot's Point

David Abbott just called and told me there is a Lincoln's Sparrow at Patriot's Point (in Mt. Pleasant, SC) as of around noon today (10-16).

Just past the Hilton entrance, you'll see the pumphouse on the left. Just past the pumphouse and across the road (on the right) is a dirt lane leading in past a metal gate. Walk in and you'll see a big open field. The bird was in the field on the near edge with a bunch of buntings and other seed eaters. Park near the pumphouse or around the next bend at the golf course driving range parking area. Don't drive into the field, even if the gate is open.

The Clay-colored Sparrows were still near the condos as of yesterday.
