1. Two destroyers sailed
on the fourth. All the war ships at anchor have sailed. There are, however,
several small destroyers in the neighborhood of Corregidor [a]. (This was
observed by the crews of the Koden Maru and the Kaisoku Maru.)
2. About six-hundred
American soldiers have arrived in Manila on the Coolidge. (This was learned
from the crew of the Coolidge.)
