EAST LOCH



Whitney, Conyngham, Reid, Tucker, Case and Selfridge are seen at right in East Loch. Primarily a destroyer nest, East Loch was largely ignored by the Japanese, although one ship, USS Monaghan, got underway and had a furious encounter with a Japanese midget submarine.
