Diet o' Wurms

As a former Luther League stalwart, I think that I, too, should have my
delicate sensibilities offended. We loved those five-and-ninety theses, and
had a pretty good song to sing about them around the campfire at Camp
Calumet. But everybody's favorite episode in Marty's life was the Diet of
Wurms, of course. Ick.

Maybe Microsoft and the ROW (rest of world) will take a clue from the recent
reconciliation of the Lutheran and Roman Catholic churches. The last
sticking point was grace versus good works. Luther argued that our sorry
souls could only be saved by grace, since it was impossible to amass enough
good works to compensate for our sinful selves. The Catholic church held
that good works could do the trick, and that they had a price list for
pennances handy, now that you bring it up.

If you read Robin's post, and follow this logic, you can only come to the
conclusion that if Martin Luther were alive today, he would be advocating
Open Source, whereas if the Catholic Church were still around, they would be
Microsoft.
