I just received the 500+ page Tech America catalog and recommend
the builders on here get a copy.
One thing that caught my eye in the quartz crystal list was an
xtal for 1843.2 kc (for $2). Does anyone know the 160m band plan
well enough to determine if that freq'y lands in one of the DX
windows? If not, maybe we could make that the Glowbug/BA CW hangout.
Oh, the xtal comes packed in an HC49/U holder (heehee - the catalog
calls that a "full-size" crystal!!), 13pF, 800 ohms.
There is no minimum order, so you can purchase say, a single resistor
if you desire. Call 1-800-877-0072 for catalog/orders.
