Digispeak 1.22 is a program for reading sequencing gels with the aid of a Graf-Bar or similar sonic digitizer. The program speaks the nucleotides as they are read in. You can be warned when you read in restriction sites or vector sequences. The main change in version 1.22 is that the documentation has been updated to answer questions about various models of digitizers and address problems which have occurred. The StuffIt Lite archive contains (1) The program Digispeak, version 1.22, (2) user instructions, Digi Instructions, (3) setup instructions, Digi Setup, (4) the digitizer menu, Digi Menu, which is a PICT document that can be opened by any drawing program, and (5) Setup Tips, which discusses possible problems with setting up the digitizer.
