Sublist Definition Screen Help To define a sublist, you can type in as many as 30 'lines'. Each line imposes a requirement on an address to qualify for the sublist. For example, you could specify that you want a sublist containing everyone whose name is in the first half of alphabet. In this case you would type '2' for Alternate ID, then 'g' for between, then 'A', then 'M'. You could also specify that you want a sublist containing everyone who lives in Boston, MA. In this case, you would type '4' the code for 'zipcode', then 'a' for 'equals', then '021' (the Boston prefix). Then type END to terminate the requirements list. 'is' means 'equals'; 'above' means 'greater than'; 'below' means 'less than'; between means 'greater than or equal to the first value and less than or equal to the second value'; 'not above' means 'less than or equal to'; 'not below' means 'greater than or equal to'. If you specify the 'AND' connector, then both requirements must be met. If you specify the 'OR' connector, then either requirement may be met for an address to be included in the sublist. Each sublist definition is stored with the Mailing List for future reference. Every definition only applies to the Mailing List with which it is stored.
