Otherwise, when adding addresses to the list, the system will assign a unique number to the address (starting with '1'). The user may not change a system-defined Primary ID. Type '2' to allow user-defined Alternate ID's. Otherwise, when adding addresses to the list, the system will automatically assign an Alternate ID. The user may change a system-defined Alternate ID. Type '3' to change the definition of the system-defined Alternate ID. By default the system-defined Alternate ID is the first 6 characters of the last name, followed by the first 4 characters of the first name. Type '4' to enter addresses without defaults. Otherwise, the system will prompt for each city, state and zip code with the information from the previously entered address. This is a shortcut for similar addresses. Type '5' to prevent the system from checking the state and zip codes. If you have mostly foreign addresses, or non-address information, you may not want the system to warn you of invalid state and zip codes.
