The KMS System Accounting package is implemented via four tasks, ACC, LOGTSK, SYSLOG, and TSKLOG. Accounting data is gathered both in RSX11.SYS (as always) and also in LB:[1,4]SYSLOG.DAT. Beware, the terminal from which SYSLOG is running should not ASN a local LB: since it will confuse LOGTSK. To use Task Accounting first install TSKLOG. Do not run it with any name other than TSKLOG as then ACC will not be able to stop it and recover the used pool and code node(must reboot). To start Task logging, type ACC /TASK after system logging is underway. QIO and User QIO accounting must be active for the ACC /TASK command to work. TSKLOG will prompt for a list of tasks. Terminate the list with a to end the list. External MCR commands(eg ...PIP) must be entered as ...XYZ for the first version and XYZTNN for any given terminal spawned version. To stop task accounting type ACC /STOP. During task accounting, output can be redireced to your terminal(rather than SYSLOG.DAT) via the ACC /PRINT command. Data is redirected back to SYSLOG.DAT by the ACC /NPRINT command.
