The general form of the User File Directory command is: UFD ddn:[group, member] where keyword may be null, ALLOC and/or PRO. This command creates a User File Directory on a Files-11 volume and enters its name into the Master File Directory. In multiuser pro- tection systems, a nonprivileged user can create a UFD only on the user's private device (i.e., a device the user has allocated). ALLOC and PRO are qualifiers for UFD. 2 ALLOC /ALLOC=n n is the number of directory entries for which space is to be allocated. The number provided is rounded up to the next multiple of 32(10). 2 PRO /PRO=[system,group,owner,world] PRO establishes access rights for the directory file.
