FRG - Disk Fragmentation Report Utility ======================================= FRG is a small task aimed to give the user some information on how fragmented his disks are. For any given FILES-11 device it will list out a frequency count of contiguous free blocks (holes) falling within each of several ranges, and the total number of free blocks for the device. Note that the program usually operates faster than a PIP/FR command. FRG may be invoked either by:- FRG or RUN $FRG FRG> Assuming that DDn: is a valid, mounted, Files-11 device then FRG will print out the relevant statistics and exit. If DDn: is omitted, SY0: is assumed. The output appears on LUN 2 which may be redirected to a printer. For a more comprehensive fragmentation report use HOL.
