Notes on RTCLOK/TSXCLK 1. The RTCLOK program should be included in the boot-time startup command file. See the included STARTS.COM/STRTSB.COM file for an example. 2. The included companion program SETDTM, can optionally follow next in the boot-time startup command file. It has been around for some time in the public domain. It will display the day, date, and time automatically. For the time interval from midnite to one minute after, SETDTM is fooled if not cold-booting, and so it will inappropriately prompt for date and time. Simply enter carriage returns. If the program has never been run before, it indicates such. 3. Code in both RTCLOK.MAC and TSXCLK.MAC has been simplified, and changed to be more formal and robust. 4. Code in TSXCLK.MAC has been revised, such that it does not take three TSX lines to set the date and time in a round about way. 5. Included RTCLOK.SAV and TSXCLK.SAV files have been built with device and vector addresses of 176530 and 330 respectively. 6. Media should contain the following files: Volume ID: RTCLOK Owner : DECUS RTCLOK.MAC 24 11-Nov-91 RTCLOK.SAV 3 11-Nov-91 TSXCLK.MAC 29 11-Nov-91 TSXCLK.SAV 4 11-Nov-91 SETDTM.MAC 17 11-Nov-91 SETDTM.SAV 5 11-Nov-91 STARTS.COM 1 11-Nov-91 STRTSB.COM 1 11-Nov-91 LINE01.TSX 1 11-Nov-91 ABSTR .TXT 1 11-Nov-91 README.1ST 4 11-Nov-91 11 Files, 89 Blocks
