VIRTUAL REALITY INDEX. Announcing the Virtual Reality Index, a quarterly index of literature on virtual reality covering journals, magazines, single and multi-authored nonfiction books, proceedings, patents, technical reports and dissertations. The Index provides specialized bibliographic citations to the growing field of virtual reality. The first issue is being readied for a summer 1992 release. WHAT DOES THE INDEX DO? The Virtual Reality Index organizes the literature of the field by separate subject, author, product and company name indexes. Complete and accurate bibliographic information is provided for each item. WHAT IS INCLUDED? The Virtual Reality Index will be a one-stop resource for anyone interested in virtual reality. Professional journal articles, popular magazine articles, single and multi- authored books, published proceedings, patents, dissertations and technical reports are all indexed. Coverage is international. WHEN? The Virtual Reality Index is issued four times a year. The first issue will be mailed in July 1992 and will include several years of retrospective indexing.
