His systems are built to produce for at least 20 years, and none of his have ever come down, even in high winds. His partner, Lars Olsen, is making available some excellent technology developed in Denmark, so good that the --MORE--(61%)Swedish electric utility wanting hundreds of systems to stand on p latforms over water chose this technology, in part because it is so reliable: having achieved an outstanding record of availability, 99.2%, which means less than 1% down time! Right now, Dan Juhl is installing five turbines for a City Utility Service on a power-purchase contract for a million kilowatt-hours per year, using some of the bigger machines. Let me know if you are a qualifie d prospect to buy any of these systems -- or know someone who is -- and I'll pa ss the word along to Dan. - Bill Weir, (612) 751-0445, 6904 Ridgeview Dr, Mpls MN 55439-1431 (which are surer to reach me promptly than a message here).
