The Alternative Technology Association is a twenty year old non-profit
organisation dedicated to promoting the practical use of appropriate
technologies worldwide. From our base in Melbourne, Australia who
produce a range of publications including the internationally distributed
magazine Soft Technology. We also operate the Breamlea Wind Power
Station, a commerical operation of the ATA feeding power into the local
grid. The ATA is also the developer and owner of the Solar Shuttle and
the Energy Mobile, two roving displays illustrating practically the
possible applications of solar and other renewable energy sources.

You can find out about our work, services, and products, as well as a lot
of information pertaining to sustainable development, renewable energy
sources, socially responsible investment and the like, at our new web
site. The URL is: http://www.suburbia.net/~claire

If you require any information about the ATA, or about any of the areas
that we promote, please feel free to contact us at claire@suburbia.net
