Ever wondered what a solar home looks like? How people live with electricity
and/or heat generated by the sun?

Well, now is your chance. On October 14 is the Third Annual Tour of
Independent Homes - an open house across the country. More than 300
homeowners and 15,000 visitors have participated in the Tour in it's
first two years. This year 128 homes in all fifty states welcome visitors
on Saturday 10/14.

The tour is free To get information on how to find them, call
1-800-762-7325. The tour is organized by Real Goods Trading Company
in california, but you don't have to buy anything.

I'm NOT associated with the tour, just posting this since I found it was
well worth it the two other years.
