The F3H-3 was a proposed version of the Demon to be powered by the
General Electric J73-GE-3 engine, rated at 9200 lb.s.t. dry and
12,900 lb.s.t. with afterburning. Ninety examples were ordered
(BuNos 143403/143492), but none were completed. The ninety airframes
ordered as F3H-3s were completed as J71-powered F3H-2s.
