> DIAERESIS % gweddi%o 'pray' Br. eu%rus 'happy' (for TILDE) > GRAVE \ sio\l 'skull' Br. geriou\ 'words' > ACUTE / gwaca/u 'empty' There is no agreement between people who speak(and write) Breton about the spelling convention. There are at least 3 ways of spelling Breton. Especially in the most widely used spelling convention there is no grave on the `ou' of plurial words. So I don't think that the way of representing diacritical is important in Breton. /------------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Philippe Kerlirzin | | | | | | Laboratoire Cenral de Recherches | tel: 33-1 60 19 72 58 | | Thomson-CSF | fax: 33-1 60 19 71 20 | | Domaine de Corbeville | telex: THOM 616 780F | | 91404 Orsay Cedex | e-mail: kerlirzin@thomson-lcr.fr | | FRANCE | | \------------------------------------------------------------------------/
