1. Any subject is fair game through the medium of Welsh. 2. Welsh-related subjects are fair game through the medium of English. 3. Translations or summaries of posts can be helpful to learners. They are welcome, but not required. These are _guidelines_. :-) This summer, when I have more spare time, I will be working with Briony and the computer wizards here at UCD to set up a proper filestore and archive system for WELSH-L. It will be similar to the one used on GAELIC-L. I'm hopeful that the same sort of facilities for learners which have sprung up on our sister list (pen-pal circles, graded lessons, poetry and proverb postings) will grow out of this list as well. WELSH-L can offer a great deal to learners of Welsh. But it does exist _first and foremost_ to allow speakers who don't wish to communicate in English to do so.
