To: Multiple recipients of list WELSH-L In-Reply-To: <9311191623.AA11164@cap.gwu.edu> I think the answer lies in some combination of so called "HI ASCII" characters (i.e., 129-255); and a program called LaTEX which is used by mathematicians and other serious students requiring special display of characters. Good luck. (Note, of course, that if you are going to try to "commuicate widely" over internet and other "LO ASCII optimized" systems, you may have some real problems. I note that at least one of the French languague newsgroups on the INTERNET USENEWS uses only "LOW ASCII" and lets the reader figure out the gramatically correct letter from the context. A special character will not universally print the same on all recipients' computer terminals and printers.) Again. Good Luck. :-) ____ | \ / ___ |am \ / |\ /|| | | | ++++++ Regards, | byth | | \ / ||---| | | Bill +++++++ |_____ | | || \ |____| INTERNET: bevans@cap.gwu.edu
