I only wish I would have put this up before yesterday, instead of remembering to do this now, for last night's broadcast. THE LEARNING CHANNEL, available on US cable systems, is broadcasting the BBC series THE CELTS for 6 straight hours begining at 12 noon ET on Sunday 23 January 1993. Frank Delaney does a useful service covering Celtic triumphs and tragedies. Music by Enya, and comment by fine scholars (some of whom will be teaching at Aberystwyth next summer). This isn't the be-all and end-all of Celtic studies, but it is a fine start, a good general survey to keep one from sliding into the sloppy romanticism of much Celtic study. Respectfully submitted from Austin, Texas (Yeee-hah!) M. Richard Myers III [and for those of you who need it: ;) !]
