"Duilleoga" means leaves (of a plant) in Irish. I can't find "huath" in the small dictionary I've got at hand -- I'd say "sceach" for a hawthorn or thorn bush. However, if your friend is trying to say "hawthorn leaves", she's got things the wrong way 'round. "Duilleoga sceiche" with "sceach" in the genitive. Aine
