Title V, SEC. 5501. REPEAL OF EXEMPTION FOR HEALTH INSURANCE. (a) In General. Section 3 of the Act of March 9, 1945 (15 U.S.C. 1013), known as the McCarran-Ferguson Act, is amended by adding at the end the following: ``(c) Notwithstanding that the business of insurance is regulated by State law, nothing in this Act shall limit the applicability of the following Acts to the business of insurance to the extent that such business relates to the provision of health benefits: ``(1) The Sherman Act (15 U.S.C. 1 et seq.). ``(2) The Clayton Act (15 U.S.C. 12 et seq.). ``(3) Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. 41 et seq.). ``(4) The Act of June 19, 1936 (49 Stat. 1526; 15 U.S.C. 21a et seq.), known as the Robinson-Patman Antidiscrimination Act.''. (b) Effective Date. The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on the first day of the sixth month beginning after the date of the enactment of this Act.
