EuroMISE International Working Conference "Education and Research in Medical Informatics" 1.- 5. June 1994, Prague, Harrachov, Czech Republic The International EuroMISE Working Conference on Education and Research in Medical Informatics is being organized in the framework of the Joint European Project EuroMISE under the TEMPUS scheme. The goal of this conference is to evaluate and promote new approaches in medical informatics to education and research. We realize that higher education in medical informatics is very high stimulated by a strong interaction between research and education. The Conference should provide opportunity for presentation of various approaches to medical informatics education and research and promote greater involvment into international cooperation in medical informatics research and education. Location of the Conference: June 1, 1994 EuroMISE Center Pod vodarenskou vezi 2 182 07 Prague 8 June 2 - 5, 1994 Hotel Fit&Fun Harrachov Preliminary scientific programme The main scientific programme of the Conference will be given in Harrachov from Thursday, June 2nd at 9.00 a.m. to Saturday June 4th at 12.30 p.m. The conference sessions will be led by the teachers and researchers from cooperating EC Universities in the EuroMISE project. The scientific programme of the working conference will run it 6 methodology sessions, where applications are focused on different medical and health topics. The sessions are titled. 1/ Biosignals, Images 2/ Communication, Networks, Legal issues 3/ Transfer of knowledge 4/ Databases, Object oriented approaches 5/ Epidemiology, Statistics 6/ Decision support topics will be presented. Official language of conference is English, simultaneous translation will not be provided. The conference is closed only for participants registered in frame of the EuroMISE project.
