Anyone wanting to see what a "Lady Hawk" looks like, or what a single D11-P CATO can do to a Lady Hawk; Check out the pictures that I uploaded to: sunsite.unc.edu:/uploads/rockets I posted simalar pictures and received ALOT of suggestions (ie: flames), so I am now using sunsite to distribute these photos. I've noticed that things don't stay in the uploads directory long, as they are usually moved to the appropriate directory in about a day. So, if you want 'em, be prepared to search for 'em... If you don't have FTP access, I can e-mail them to you. Please try to be prompt with your requests though, because I'll be deleting them from my home directory in about a week. Anyway, here's what's available: lh1.jpg - Shows Lady Hawk perched upon my scratch-built cargo plane; ready to be carried aloft, released, and flight/gilde tested. lh2.jpg - Picture of Lady Hawk "on the pad". lh3.jpg - Picture of Lady Hawk and the launch pad after the CATO. Shows damage to the RCRG and the blast deflector. lh4.jpg - Close-up of Lady Hawk. Shows how the covering is blistered on the left fin, and how far forward the fire and smoke damage is. (The right fin blew off the moment the engine CATO'd.) That's it, hope you enjoy 'em! Check out my sig for more info...
