Announcing the beginning phases of the initiation of the

Phoenix-area Linux Users Group (PLUG :-)

(Notice the key phrase "beginning phases of the initiation of" up there!)

I'm hereby volunteering to start PLUG (and am open to different names, also).

 However, some caveats:

 1) If *I* run this thing, it has to be done during lunch as I do not
have any free evenings. I expect to plan meetings once a month on
a regular day (say, first Monday, 4th Friday, whatever the initial
group decides is best for it).

 2) My current plan is to have the meetings at Aunt Chilada's,
7330 N Dreamy Draw Drive (or, as an alternative, we might be able
to have it at The Left Seat, 2633 E Air Lane). I've already gotten
preliminary OK from Aunt Chilada's. Until we get larger than 15
folks, we will simply meet in the "normal" dining room.

So, how many people are interested, given the above caveats?

How many people would be interested only if the meetings were NOT for lunch?

If the "vast majority" (whatever THAT means) of respondents can only come
for a supper or after supper meeting, then I'll also need a volunteer to
be the "new PLUG leader", 'cause I won't be able to start (or attend) an
 evening group...

usenet un-net, now THIS! Will I ever learn???? ;-)
