Hello:

Recently I uploaded the sources and documentation of my callback package to
tsx-11.mit.edu. The package consists of two programs, which enable a Linux
box, equipped with a modem, to accept incoming calls and to process these
calls as requests for callback. A request for a callback is then validated
for the user name and for the requested phone number: both must be
`allowed', as specified in configuration files of the callback package. When
all matches, the Linux box places a return call to the remote machine, and a
login process is started.

To get callback working, you will need the setserial package (2.0.2 or
higher) and getty_ps (2.0.7b or higher).

The package consists of two files: callback-1.01.tar.gz (sources and
documentation) and callback.doc (documentation, also present in the
archive). The files can be obtained at:
	tsx-11.mit.edu, directory pub/linux/sources/usr.bin/Communications
	beatrix.icce.rug.nl, directory pub/unix

Cheers,
Karel.
