This is Xpostit, A post-it note program for X.
It compiled clean, no patches, just an xmkmf and make.
It was recompiled for Xfree86-1.2 and requires the 4.3 jumplibs
and the X 3.0 stuff. The full source is included. It is functionally
identical to the one I put up on Sunsite before, just relinked for
the new X stuff.

The archive is gzipped to save space.

It can be obtained via ftp from Sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/Incoming/xpost.tar.z

From the README file:

This is XPostIt Version 3.3.1 for X11 Releases 4 and 5. XPostIt allows
you to create small notes to yourself in windows on the screen, and save
them in disk files. This is generally neater than having numerous real
Post-it notes stuck all around the edges of your monitor.
