I have just finished an installation setup of Xfree1.2 for people
who would like to run X windows, but don't want to sacrifice
all of their free space. Uncompressed and installed tinyX takes
up 3.5 MB of hard drive space, compressed it fits on one
3.5" high density floppy (1.41MB)

Rob Nation's rxvt package was included in this installation to
save both space and memory, with a reasonable setup, X
can be expected to run without thrashing on a 4mb machine.

tinyX is currenlty available on sunsite.unc.edu in the incoming
directory or on slippery.cs.umass.edu in /pub.
