A new "a1.test" SLS boot disk has been uploaded to tsx-11.mit.edu.
It is an attempt to go back to the universal lilo boot disk,
using Werners suggestion of "linear" but no "compact".
Could people try this out, particularly, anyone who reported
problems with the last universal boot disk.

This disk also has some new features, such as support for
boot time configuration of more things. Hold ALT down
at the LILO prompt will print the following:

> Welcome to the SLS lilo boot/install disk. For normal install, hit enter

For users of the IBM PS VP, use the hdparams to force detection of your
hard drive. Similarly, ethernet and bus mouse settings can be forced.
In the coming release of SLS, these settings will be passed on to the
install program which will setup lilo on your hard drive to preserve
these settings.
