Despite my dire predictions, it seems that you can use the Mitsumi cdrom
driver that I uploaded recently on the drives with the 16-bit interface.
Apparently, the 16-bit stuff only comes into play when doing DMA transfers,
which my driver doesn't use. In non DMA mode it looks just like the good
ol' 8-bit interface that the device driver talks to.

So if you have the 16-bit card and didn't think it would work, then give
the driver a try. Needless to say, you can email me about any problems
questions, or even just to say that you're using it.
