atalk 0.1 is yet another voice chat program for Linux.

Requires: sound card, microphone, some sort of net connection.
Hacking it for term should be easy.

Distinguishing features:

-- Uses adaptive delta modulation-- pretty good, not as good
as GSM, but *fast fast fast even without a math chip*
-- Variable levels of quality-- choose quality or speed
-- Notifies you of incoming calls and tells you who to answer
-- Message length limited only by disk space
-- Decent version control

atalk is available by anonymous ftp from:

ftp.netcom.com

as pub/boutell/atalk-0.1.tar.gz .
