[DIP is a SLIP dialup program. --mdw]

To make the confusion with different versions of DIP complete, I added
some more hacks to it, tested it a few days and put it on a public
FTP server:

	ftp.Germany.EU.net:
	/pub/comp/i386/Linux/Incoming.EUnet/
	dip-3.3.7.strauss.tar.gz

Some features against the original release:

o ability to use ttyS* instead of cua* to make it work correctly
besides an active mgetty or vgetty,

o default directory for dip scripts,

o commands netmask, broadcast, route, default for configuring
interface and routing more precisely, also for subnet routing,

o similar features in server mode by appending options in the
    diphosts file,

o command "call" just for spawning anouther process, e.g. starting
uucico over TCP after establishing the connection,

Of course, some of these functionalities were NOT done be me. Default
routing and netmask is taken from Uri's version. I think, everything
should be compatible to Uri's version and also to the original one.
So, there should be no problems, switching to this one.

But remember: IT STILL NEEDS THE "NEW" VERSION OF THE ROUTE COMMAND. The
setting of interface and routing is done by simply calling the commands
ifconfig and route. So make sure, route understands a syntax like
"route add default dev sl0". You may find it on almost every major
Linux FTP server.
