I would like to announce the release of procps version 0.93.

Procps is a suite of small utilities, including ps, which read current
system status information from /proc/* and display it on the screen in
an orderly fashion.

With procps 0.93, the output of ps can be sorted. For example, to
sort programs from largest to smallest amount of physical memory in
use, you can type:
	ps -aux --sort:-rss
'--sort:-rss' means "sort the RSS field in descending order".
	ps -aux --sort:rss
would sort from smallest to largest amount of physical memory in use
by the processes.

There may still be bugs left in the command parsing, as the changes
have not been well-tested yet. Please send me any bug reports.

Several other bugs have been fixed; please see the README file for
details. Most of the other bugs are fixed. The initialization bug in
free that several people found is fixed. top can handle more
different terminals.

top now has an 'i' command to ignore idle processes. *VERY* useful,
IMHO.

This release includes binaries; run "make install" as root to install
them.

I suggest that if you care about the "RSS" size that is reported, that
you get a recent kernel, as there was a bug in earlier kernels that
caused them to report outlandish numbers for RSS sizes for processes
that were using mmap(), like X.

An lsm entry follows.
