Greetings,

This is just to let everyone know that PACS's (The Philadelphia Area
Computer Society) UNIX SIG is a good place for Linux users to meet.
PACS meetings are held the third Saturday of each month (August 20th,
this month) at
            Drexel University
            Matheson Building
            32nd & Market Street
            Philadelphia PA
Meetings begin at 8:00 am and last most of the day - the UNIX SIG meets
in Room 408 from 11am - 1pm. Attendance at the monthly meeting is
(currently) FREE - PACS yearly membership is (currently) ~$30 which
includes the monthly newsletter, "The Data Bus." And although my monthly
column on Linux/free software is not worth $30 per year, it is a start :)
The PACS Multi-SIG BBS (215) 842-960[0-4] has a Unix area (<J>ump Unix)
where most of the Linux FAQs and HOW-TOs can be found (30 minutes access
for non-members per day). This month we will discuss SLIP and TCP/IP
(to the best of our limited abilities). We always have some news-sharing
and Q&A time (sometimes this is all we do :).

PACS Motto: "Users helping users"
