I am pleased to announce the availability of AX.25 ALPHA 010 for Linux.
[AX.25 is the low level protocol use for amateur radio links]

WHATS NEW
o	SOCK_RAW access to arbitary protocols via PID byte
o	Digipeating
o	Incoming connected mode IP
o	Tidied application code
o	Some manual pages
o	Makefile

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This kit adds AX.25 support to the Linux 0.99.15 networking code. It
will not work with older releases. Any programs compiled with the older
networking code should be recompiled as some constants changed from
the older ALPHA releases. With this code you get seamless IP over
radio integration and also access to AX.25 amateur radio facilities
properly done via the kernel.

This is ALPHA test software. I run it for all my AX.25 usage - but that
doesn't mean it is wonderful (yet). The current release has several
known limits - No Netrom, no DM sent in response to an unknown socket,
no digipeater support (although it will use digipeaters)

License: GNU public license, some material BSD licensed. Freely
	 redistributable.

Coming soon:
Outgoing connected mode IP, and hopefully NetROM based on
some provisionally donated code.
