Announcing the 2nd release of BDash for LinuX:
**********************************************

This is my port of the B*ulderDash game for LinuX, using 256 colour
graphics and digitized sound.

It is called bdash030.tgz and can be found on:
tsx-11.mit.edu : /pub/Linux/bin/games/bdash030.tgz
sunsite.unc.edu: /pub/LinuX/bin/games/bdash030.tgz

Major changes since the older bdahs021a.tgz include:
	- bug fix: security hole: every user could misuse root privileges
	- smother scrolling of graphics
	- highscore list
	- directory structure, man page
	- support of compressed data files
	- complete code reorganization, move to objectorientedC
	- addition of graphics converter for writing new graphics
	- use of svgalib0.98, allows vt-switching
	- use of sun-audio file format, more sounds
	- better documentation, easier reconfiguring, recompiling

Any comments, suggestions, criticism are still welcome, please send
them to:

		kballued@charon.physik.uni-osnabrueck.de
(please include "BDASH" in the Subject: line)

PLEASE send me some more levels to include!!
