In order to make Linux Journal a success we need to make sure that it is
getting out to everyone who has an interest in Linux. To help make that
possible, we are offering to send a sample copy of one issue to qualified
Unix or Linux User Groups for distribution to the group members.

If you are a member or official of such a group, you can send e-mail to
subscriptions@fylz.com or call 800-546-7274 (203-454-3242 outside the US)
and ask to talk to Bob Young, our publisher. You can make arrangements with
Bob for enough copies to hand out at your meeting.

Note that Issue #1 is rapidly becoming a reality. It will include an
interview with Linus, columns by well-know Linux people and a host of other
material. Note that virtually all this material is new rather than
just stuff captured from Usenet.

The last date for reserving advertising space for Issue #1 is January 7,
subscriptions must be entered by January 28 to ensure that you will
receive Issue #1 and Issue #1 will be mailed in February.

The table of contents of Issue #1 will be posted here in about a week.
I have included the Linux Journal information sheet below to help answer
any other questions.
