In appreciation of the benefits myself and the lab have realized from the 
use of Linux on my system here in Seattle, the Quest Protein
Database Center has made the Linux Software Map available on
our World Wide Web server. (Several WWW clients exist for
linux, both using term and using proper networking; you can
also access the web using a text- mode browser such as Lynx
on your local internet account provider. See comp.infosystems.www
for details and general questions about the Web.

Our online access system allows for keyword and title searches.
It also allows you to simply browse through the titles
(but that's a 100k document, so those with slow links are
well advised to use searches).

Our current database is based on the December release of the LSM.
We intend to update the database as new editions of the LSM appear.
