released, packed with (older) gateway programs.
Keywords: fidonet mail news netmail echomail gateway

Ifmail is a set of FidoNet(tm) compatible transport and gateway
programs, running on mutiple U*IX platforms (Linux, FreeBSD, SCO, SVR4,
SunOS). In cooperation with typical U*IX e-mail and netnews packages,
allows to make a FidoNet node (or point) on a machine running U*IX.

The package is in BETA, use it on your own risk.

What's new in version 1.9:
- Some bugfixes
- AKA matching (choosing the "best" AKA for "From" addresses)
- Domain translation (use domains other than .ftndomain.org)
- Unresolved FREQs are tried once more in lowercase

What did *NOT* appear in version 1.9:
- Bidirectional protocols
- Problems handshaking with FrontDoor not fixed
- Many other minor things
