bprof is a utility that tells you how much time your program spends in
each line of your source code.

I've just uploaded version 1.0 (the 2nd one) to sunsite.unc.edu as

sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/Incoming/bprof-1.0.tar.gz

I hope it will eventually be moved to

sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/devel/bprof-1.0.tar.gz

Any other useful information I can think of is included in the lsm
entry below.

Changes relative to 0.1 are few:

1) If a bmon.out file is older than the executable, bprof will warn
you.

2) bprof now uses ITIMER_VIRTUAL instead of ITIMER_PROF (unless
otherwise requested) to avoid problems with interrupted syscalls.

3) Should now also compile with old include files that do not define
MAP_FILE.

4) No bugs were found, so none were fixed.
